Ok so i didnt think it would ever come to this but its time for me and neo to say goodbye. ive spent alot of time and money on this car turning it into a sleeper. i love it to bit and have taken care of it from day one and am sad to see it go but a new car means its time for it to leave.

i was given the car in 2007 from my father with 140,000 miles on the clock and the original 1.1 engine. at the time it had fsh(unfortunatly lost in a change of house) and ran perfect. at 180,000miles i decided to add the 1.2 punto engine into the mix and modify it to my desire.

the donor engine was a 52,000mile block in perfect condition, i rebuilt it with new bearings and seals all around and fitted it into the car. its ran perfect ever since, never missed a beat and the only time it ever failed to start is when the alternator broke, ive replaced this with a brand new unit now.

the car now reads 183,000miles and is in daily use and all modifications were carried out at 180,000 miles so everything listed above has only done 3k. suspension is like new.

Ive recently fitted brand new disks on the front with padrid pads and refurbed all four of the callipers.

The suspension bushes on the rear are powerflex fitted with the suspension and the car comes supplied with the front powerflex suspension bush's which i never got around to fitting.

Engine.
1242 8v
GSR Induction Kit
32MM Throttle Body
Uno 999cc Inlet Manifold
Ported Head
Supersprint 4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold.
Cat Back system with stainless steel box's
Chrome Rocker Cover
Mckrich Power Cento chip(coded)
Lightened/Balance Flywheel (3.6kg)
OMP Strutt Brace.
Sealed engine mounts to enhance responce.

Suspension
FK High Tek -50/-30 Lowering Kit.
Powerflex PU Suspension Bush's

Brakes.
Front Fiat Marea 257mmVented ABS(style) Callipers.
Rear Fiat Marea 240mm Disk conversion

Car.
Full abarth factory spec. with the spoiler sideskirts embroidered seats, sill plates leather steering wheel and gear knob.

Interior.
Front abarth seats in perfect condition with no rips or tears.
Rear seats in perfect condition again with no rips or tears. (not currently fitted due to false floor. can be re-installed or just supplied with the sale. seatbelts havent been touched.)
parcel shelf in good condition with no speakers.
Ive added custom rear quarter speakers with the abarth logo on them for bettter sound and upgraded the front.
Sunroof has its cover and all dials work in the vehicle. electric windows are working as are demister at the rear. The wipers work all around aswell.

the car doesnt miss a beat and there are no warning lights at all showing.

So on the good side everything in the car is as should be without damage and mechanically everything is working and in tip top condition.

this leads me on to the bad bits. and unfortuantly its all body work.

when i got it off my father the bonnet was badly chipped from the motorway the paint is also peeling on the front bumper(laqure)

a van has left a scratch and crumple in the drivers wing and the laqure is also peeling from the wingmirrors.

the rear bumper has a crack from a cyclist cycling in to it and the cold this year has caused it to grow.

the front bumper was knocked slightly last week causing a small crack from the drivers headlight down and unfortunatly due to hitting a rabbit in the road the passangerrs side foglamp is missing.

im increadibly sad to see it go as ive worked hard on it but it has to go. pictures of the damage will be up tomorrow and pictures of the rest will be up now.

CAR IS MOT'D AND TAXED CAN BE DRIVEN AWAY STRAIGHT AWAY AND CAN DELIVER IF PETROL IS COVERED.

car will come with any spares we have in the house for it.

£800 ONO (DONT TAKE THE PISS)

http://www.fiatforum.com/classifieds...?product=19998

Also reduced to £2195 ono for a quick sale!

Ive decided to sell theTurbo Cinquecento as a rarely get time to drive it, ive covered about 1000 miles (including the 400 odd mile journey home from down south) maybe less since buying it this time last year

This car used to belong to Martin (AllanHelen) and before that Aaron and Emma (J333EVO) and (FoxyEm) so the history of the car is easily traceable on the Fiatforum.

Check out the epic build thread inc pics from when it came into their ownership in 2005 to when I bought it last year.

http://www.fiatforum.com/cinquecento...ss-thread.html

http://www.fiatforum.com/members-mot...s-warning.html

Since I bought the car its always been garaged.

The car is MOT’d until May 2011
Taxed due 01/11/2010
Its currently on about 69700 miles and it had 68K odd when I bought it.

This is a seriously well built Cinq, I used to have a Sei high boost turbo and this is a totally different animal to that car. Its scarily fast for a cento so be warned!

Here is the spec I have copied and edited from when I bought it from AllanHelen

Link to original advert:

http://www.fiatforum.com/classifieds...?product=15679

“The car started life as a standard 1108cc Cinquecento Sporting with only 54bhp & 60lb ft, but was originally converted to a Hi Boost Turbo by VAD back in 1999 by a previous owner at a cost of over £3200. Since then though the engine was completely rebuilt with many custom parts detailed below and is now is a completely different car. The last time the car was on a rolling road it produced 110bhp at the wheels (134BHP at the crank) and 134lb ft! The car has also has done simulated 0-60 times on the RR in the low 6 seconds. So this really is one of the fastest Cinquecento on the planet!

The current specification is:

Garret GT15 turbo on custom manifold; new turbo which was modified to have a flat surface for nuts to sit against, purchased Aug 2006 only covered about 10K since then

VAD custom intercooler, with custom silicone pipework.

Custom plenum chamber fed via a stainless steel solid boost pipe fitted with a Greddy diaphragm dump valve. The Plenum has a "green" Bosch 2nd injector fitted to provide the fuelling “on boost” this is controlled with an Aquamist MF2 3D mappable injector driver.

The intake system including the filter has been moved to inside wheel arch to ensure cold air intake and least restrictive pipe run. This was always a problem on standard VAD set up with filter in engine bay.

The fuel system was changed to include an up-rated Walbro fuel pump from a MK5 Escort RS2000.

SARD fuel pressure regulator and new fuel line plumbing to ensure 2nd injector gets 3bar of fuel pressure.

40mm “Tricker” throttle body.

Mahle custom oversize dished pistons, these give better squelch than VAD machined flat Fiat pistons. The engine was completely rebuilt including new bearings, shells etc when these were fitted the car was also re-bored to 1 at the same time meaning it is now actually ~1130cc.

Exhaust Manifold was modified to remove central partition as this over time deteriorates and can break off sending bits into turbo and destroying it. Currently this is also heat wrapped to keep down under bonnet temperatures and to increase gas speed for minimal turbo lag

Earls 115mm 10row oil cooler with remote oil filter housing with finned filter cooler to keep check of oil temps.

Ported & polished head with matched better flowing Uno inlet manifold, Punto 75 cam with piper vernier cam pulley

Custom “Zorstec” 304 stainless steel straight through exhaust, 2” internal diameter from the turbo back. The exhaust is fitted with two Lambda bosses and an EGT boss. The exhaust is fully TIG welded and extremely free flowing as is required in a Turbo application. Receipt for £590 for this alone!

200mm Stilo flywheel and clutch made by AP which is essential to put down the additional power and transmit the torque.

The car has had the head gasket replaced along with new head bolts when Martin had it.

Alloy oil catch tank connected to the cam cover but also the car has an adapted sump with an additional breather that is also connected into the catch can.

The car currently has a Greddy Profec e-01 electronic boost controller this is one of the best controllers available anywhere, it has numerous features to both control and increase the boost pressure whilst also cutting the boost to protect the engine based on sensor inputs. It displays additional information on the LCD screen mounted in the ashtray that can be hidden away when the car is parked.

Innovate LC-1 wide band lambda controller and sensor fitted so you can keep a close eye on the all important Air fuel ratio’s. These two items together allow the car to safely run up to 1.3bar of boost and it probably will run more if you are brave enough.
The boost controller and LC-1 are included in the sale,

Weitec Sports suspension kit, matched shocks and springs which lowers car 40mm and vastly improves the road holding but still has a compliant ride and clears most speed bumps.

Eibach front anti-roll bar, these are no longer available and very hard to find now.

EIbach Front strut brace

Punto GT front brake conversion using the late model ATE spec big pad callipers includes 257mm vented, drilled and grooved, Torox sport Japan disc’s and stainless braided flexible lines

FIAT Uno Turbo rear disc conversion includes 227mm solid rear drilled and grooved Tarox sport Japan discs, with stainless braided flexible lines. The callipers were fully refurbished 2 years ago and have done little mileage since. This also means you have a hand break that actually works!

Abarth rear spoiler
Abarth style side skirts and kick plates.
Abarth rear bumper

Front bumper is the standard style and has had all the slats individually cut out to ensure the intercooler and oil cooler get a good cold air flow

Seicento door mirrors.

OZ racing F1 Evo Cup 14" wheels with 195/45/14 tyres Toyo T1-R on the rear and Uniroyal rain sports on the front. All with good tred left. These wheels are very rare but I do also have 2 extra wheels that can be bought separately.

The car has also a Full Fiat stud conversion as per Seicento Abarth models including 10mm front spacers.

Tim oil temperature, pressure and turbo boost gauges fitted where central air vent was.

MOMO steering wheel and fitted with alloy pedals and handbrake lever from a Seicento Schumacher

Thatcham category 1 alarm immobiliser system with remote central locking including receipt for insurance.

Recaro seats from a Suzuki Ignis Sport custom floor mounts and matching rear yellow "fishnet" headrests.

Sony MP3 CD player with 6 speakers, the rear speakers are powered by a separate Kenwood power amplifier and there are an additional set of speakers mounted in custom rear side pods.

The car comes complete with a file full of recent history plus receipt for the original turbo conversion that was in excess of £3200. The value of all the receipts in total must be well over £10,000 which gives a good indication that the car has been built and maintained regardless of cost”

All that has changed is I have added a new Halfords battery with a 3 or 4 year guarantee and I had the car MOT’d.

For the MOT it needed a new front brake pipe, the headlights adjusted and the Eibach front anti roll bar mount secured.

The car is decat’d, you will need a friendly MOT tester for next year.

Link from when J333EVO sold it

http://www.fiatforum.com/classifieds...p?product=9005

There is a huge stack of receipts for this car, its scary adding up what has been spent on it.

It comes with 3 sets of keys including the Red key

Two central locking fobs.

Ive not gotten round to a service on the car yet as its hardly been driven, I have a new oil filter but still need to get oil. I can either get the oil and filter changed or you can do it yourself and I will take money off the cost of the car for your trouble.

Bad Points

Not many for a 13 year old car in my opinion but I like being honest.

The passenger side window stopped working last weekend at the Scottish Italian Car Show and for some reason this has also stopped the central locking working on the passenger door.

There is a chip on the windscreen but it is outwith the MOT fail area so its perfectly legal.

There are a few faded panels on the car, namely the front bumper, skirts and spoiler and some lacquer peel. There is also some glue residue on one of the front wings where someone has glued the side repeater and its spilled onto the wing.

There is also a small rust patch on the same front wing (I have a spare wing included) and the usual place in the boot.

The car needs the securing brackets for the rear seats to lock into, I broke these when I was removing the rear seats as I planned to cage the car and ive not managed to get replacements yet, none can sit on the rear seats until these are fitted to secure them.

I have removed the door guards from the sides as I prefer the look without them, that is the only cosmetic change to the car.

If I get my asking price for the car I have a genuine Abarth front bumper in red, Brand New Hormann side skirts and New Hormann narrow arches which just need painted so I planned to get the paint work tidied up when I had the above fitted.

Parts included if I get my asking price:

Rare Cinquecento Cup mirrors
Sei mk2 expansion tank
Spare wiper arms and wiper mechanism
2 spare OZ alloys wheels (in black)
Brand new Hormann narrow arch kit
Brand new Hormann side skirts
Genuine Abarth front bumper
Wind deflectors
Brand new OMP gear knob
RARE OMP Gearknob fitting kit
Black leather & leather stitching gearstick and handbrake boots
Spare bumper bracket
Spare yellow front wing
Spares from the Schumi I broke which you are welcome to inc 1.1 Mpi engine and Schumi gearbox
Hanyes Manual
New Fiat badge for rear
New Sporting badge for rear
New genuine Abarth badge for rear

And anything else I can find that is of use to you…

Just to clarify I am leaving the Greddy Profec e-01 boost controller in the car and the Innovate LC1 wideband controller in the car all set up as I bought it.

I have tried to be as honest as possible in this advert, you are welcome to view the car if you wish and feel free to PM or email me any questions.

The car is in Central Scotland, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. This is a great chance for the car to go to a Scottish owner !

Im looking for serious buyers only who have the cash, no tyre kickers or test pilots as I will want to see proof of insurance unless you hand the cash over before driving.

The asking price is £2495, I will take some money off this price for the oil and filter change if you want to do it yourself.

Im not looking for PX as I have a daily driver.

Thanks

It's breaking my heart but due to redundancy I'm having to sell my beautiful 67 fastback.

The car lives in my carpeted heated garage. To say it is well looked after is a huge understatement.
Charlie (previous owner) was also obsessive about the care and attention the car received.

here is is in its garage:

The car was fully and professionally restored (at colossal expense) 10 years ago.
During this restoration every panel that had the slightest bit of corrosion was replaced
with new metal: New doors, new bonnet, new boot, new front and rear valances, new
front cowl, firewall, floor panels, both chrome bumpers, wings etc etc etc. I have a
great set of photos taken during this restoration that detail everything that was
replaced. Every seal on the car has been replaced: Windows, doors etc.

The car was rewired from scratch with a new loom. Everything works, and I do mean
everything. This was the only car I saw when I was looking to buy, that had all the
electrics working flawlessly.

The interior upholstery is finished in an ivory coloured parchment leather interior.
It's a really lovely interior and a very comfortable place to be. Absolutely no expense
was spared on the interior with new seats, carpets, headlining, door cards, steering
wheel, etc. It has a top quality Bluetooth radio that has a built in dock for
your iPod/iphone. The hands-free function is excellent and dead simple to use, even
for me! The dock on the front of the radio is perfect for Satnav. The car is fitted
with a Thatcham approved all-singing, all-dancing alarm & immobiliser which keeps
the insurance company satisfied. My insurance is £165 per year fully comprehensive
with an agreed value of £35K

No expense spared under the bonnet either:
The engine is a 302 Small block V8. It is fitted with the complete Edelbrock
RPM performer package which comprises of: Aluminium Heads, 600CFM Edelbrock
1405 Carburettor, High Lift Cam and Air-Gap Intake manifold. Edelbrock say that
with this kit a healthy 302 will push out 350-375HP, it certainly feels like it: the
performance is absolutely fantastic, pulling very strongly from low revs just as
it should. Spark is dealt with by a Petronix 2 ignition system mated with a
Flamethrower coil, so no messing about with points. It has a high spec Petronix
rev limiter fitted too. The engine is kept cool with a nice heavy duty Radiator
and fuel is delivered by a high pressure electric fuel pump.

Pushing out this power requires a proper gearbox and this is taken care of
with a Tremec TKO500 Five speed manual box and a Hurst shifter. This is
an absolute delight with the 5th gear really helping to bring the revs down
when cruising. The TKO shouldn't be confused with the older and weaker T5 box.

Traction is applied though a brand spanking new 9 inch Currie Limited slip
differential with 31 spline axles and traction master anti-tramp bars. The
car gets serviced and tuned every 6 months regardless of mileage and
last time it was up on the ramp, I saw the very beginnings of some corrosion
just starting to appear on the welds where the traction bars are mounted
to the tub. I immediately had these cut off, cleaned up, rewelded, POR15
treated, primed and painted.

Sticking it to the road are a set of 16" 'Vintage Wheel Works' wheels, these
are shod with 225/55/16 tyres. I think the car looks just right with this
set-up although it would be easy to go wider at the back if you wanted.

Stopping a car with this much power requires some serious brakes and
this is provided with a brake booster servo, 4 pot callipers and huge Discs
up front and massive over-size drums in the rear.

The suspension was fully polybushed 2 years ago and at that time it had
a Randall's Power steering Rack & Pinion fitted. I cannot describe the
difference this makes to the steering. It's simply worlds apart from the
old steering box.

The only aspect of the car I wasn't 100% happy with was the feel of the
clutch. When I bought the car it still had the 'Z' bar mechanical linkage
which I thought stood out as being a bit too agricultural, it was especially
noticeable as the steering, brakes gearchange and suspension feel so
dialled-in. I've just bought all the parts for a full hydraulic clutch conversion
and it's in the garage right now having this done, with a new clutch too
of course. This upgrade will complete the driving experience and tie
everything together.

The sound of the V8 is absolutely fantastic, breathing through the
Dynomax Turbo mufflers and exhaust system gives a beautiful lumpy t
ick-over rumble that hints to passers by that there is something very
special under the hood. If you want to go louder, it has a great
party-piece in the form of exhaust cut-outs. This is a system whereby
a discreet switch on the dash opens up some electric valves in the
exhaust that bypasses the rear silencers. Open these and the world
will know you have arrived. The sound is truly epic.

Bad points? Mostly minor, the main being the driver's and passenger
side door glass (scratches in places), could be in better nick. It's not
that bad really.

Last service was Just over 400 miles ago. I gave it an oil flush and then
fresh oil, water/anti-freeze, brake fluid flush and new fluid, new oil, air
and fuel filters and a brand new Battery.
Despite having always been garaged since it's restoration, the car
does come with a top quality fitted outdoor cover. The car has been
featured in magazines and I have copies of these you can look at
