Read on only if your FIAT has a standard central locking unit (key based) otherwise this "how-to" probably wont make much more sense than any of the other ones I've written so far!

RCL kits made by META can be found on ebay and fit more FIAT's than just the punto (obviously we'd advise you to check it's compatible with your car before you part with cash for it!)

Installation really is a piece of cake! Open the glovebox then open the second glovebox that is hidden within it. Carefully remove the yellow box (the original central locking relay) and replace with the yellow relay with the wire that hangs from it. When you start inserting this one, you should hear the locks try and lock (and reject because the doors are open)

Shut the door, and hit the button on the wee blue fob. You now have remote central locking.
